| Integration
Only when an MES is integrated with the relevant production-related IT systems, can its benefits unfold completely, and it
is then that a consistent information flow throughout all levels is made possible. This includes both vertical and
horizontal integration. Vertical integration, i.e., integration "from shop floor to top floor", is necessary to
ensure the desired "real-time visibility" so that the production processes become transparent to corporate management.
Horizontal integration, on the other hand, lays the foundation for a complete and consistent supply chain view dealing with
all the processes from goods received to goods shipped.

| PAS-X relies on Standard Interfaces |
When we design and implement systems in our projects, our customers benefit from clearly defined standard interfaces,
through which PAS-X is horizontally and vertically integrated into your IT infrastructure. Werum uses the
interface definitions of international industry standards (OPC, XML, etc.). With regard to the functional
assignment of tasks to different levels, Werum complies with such standards as ANSI/ISA 88 / 95.

| MES - SCADA, PLC Integration |
Since the Life Science Industry is our specialty, we have developed interfaces to the machines and equipment of all major suppliers.

| MES - DCS and Historian Integration |
For these areas, we also offer interfaces to all major systems on the market.
A unique standard interface, which can be used to synchronize process recipes with PAS-X master batch records, is the basis for adapters that connect your system to systems by various manufacturers.
We will take over full responsibility for the technical coordination of integration projects, starting with the specification phase through to start-up operations.

| MES - LIMS Integration |
| Quality control during manufacturing (IPC) plays an ever-increasing role in the industry and directly influences all processes. The PAS-X system provides standard integration to enable synchronization between the elements of master batch records and LIMS activities. This synchronization typically deals with elements, such as sampling and saving of IPC results.

| MES - DMS Integration |
Documents, such as master batch records or SOPs, form the basis for any activity in the regulated industry. Pharmaceutical companies use Document Management Systems (DMS) to save and store documents in electronic form. PAS-X offers integration for the following uses:
- Saving and storing of printed manufacturing reports
- Referencing of SOPs for display during the actual manufacturing process
- Consolidating manufacturing reports with documents from other systems (e.g. logs from testing equipment)
